Al o\u00edr que el que pasaba era Jes\u00fas Nazareno, comenz\u00f3 a gritar: \u201c\u00a1Jes\u00fas, hijo de David, ten compasi\u00f3n de m\u00ed!\u201d Muchos lo reprend\u00edan para que se callara, pero \u00e9l segu\u00eda gritando todav\u00eda m\u00e1s fuerte: \u201c\u00a1Hijo de David, ten compasi\u00f3n de m\u00ed!\u201d Jes\u00fas se detuvo entonces y dijo: \u201c\u00bfLl\u00e1menlo?\u201d. Y llamaron al ciego, dici\u00e9ndole: \u201c\u00a1\u00c1nimo! Lev\u00e1ntate, porque \u00e9l te llama\u201d. El ciego tir\u00f3 su manto; de un salto se puso en pie y se acerc\u00f3 a Jes\u00fas. Entonces le dijo Jes\u00fas: \u201c\u00bfQu\u00e9 quieres que haga por ti?\u201d El ciego le contest\u00f3: \u201cMaestro, que pueda ver\u201d. Jes\u00fas le dijo: \u201cVete; tu fe te ha salvado\u201d.
